Chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has expressed grief and sorrow over the death of a high number of Iranians because of a strong earthquake which hit western areas of the country on November 12.

“Our hearts go out to the families of victims of earthquake tragedy,” said the PPP chairman in a message of condolence, madaresharghi reported.

He said that the people of Pakistan are with the people of Iran at this difficult time.

Earlier Former Pakistan president and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Co-Chairman Asif Zardari had also expressed sympathy with the 
government and people of Iran over the devastating earthquake and prayed for the speedy recovery of injured.

A 7.3-magnitude earthquake shook the western province of Kermanshah and the regions bordering Iraq on Sunday night. The quake was felt in some neighboring states as well.

Based on the latest statistics, at least 432 people have been reported killed and over 9000 injured in quake-stricken areas in Iran.
