Iran’s Ambassador to Mauritania Mohammad Omrani explored avenues for boosting bilateral relations in a meeting with the country’s foreign minister Isselkou Ould Ahmed Izid Bih on Saturday.
The two officials discussed expansion of political, economic, trade and scientific relations as well as various areas of cooperation between the two countries, madaresharghi reported.
Meanwhile, Iran’s ambassador dealt with ways of promoting mutual cooperation and strengthening parliamentary ties with Mauritania National Assembly speaker.
During the meeting, Omrani submitted Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani’s message and letter of invitation to his Mauritanian counterpart to attend the 13th Meeting of Inter-Parliamentary Union.
