Certain Arab countries’ competition to normalize relations with the Zionist regime and their conceding attempts based on US-Israeli so-called peace plans are betrayal to the Palestinian cause, said Iran’s ambassador to Jordan.
“Muslim world and Palestine’s defenders’ unity against Zionists expansionism is necessary especially in Africa,” Mojtaba Ferdosipour said in a meeting with Palestinian Assistant Minister for Africa, Asia and Australia Affairs Mazen Shamiyah, IRNA reported.
Ferdosipour stressed Iran’s support for the Palestinians and said that unity and resistance are only way to regain the rights of the Palestinian nation.
He called for unanimity to counter Israeli plots to disentangle regional countries.
In the meeting which was held in Jordan, Shamiyah appreciated Iran’s support for the oppressed Palestinians calling for expansion of bilateral ties and consultations with Iran in order to counter the spread of Zionists influence in the region.
He also hailed Iran’s effective role in fighting extremist and Takfiri terrorism in the region.
The two sides also emphasized on regional and international organizations’ more cooperation to defend the Palestinian cause.
