The Israeli military has struck a scientific research facility in the Syrian city of Masyaf in yet another act of aggression against the Arab country, media reports say.
Citing pro-government activists, Al-Masdar News, a pan-Arab news and commentary website, said Thursday that Israeli warplanes targeted the Scientific Studies and Research Center (SSRC) in Masyaf in the west-central Syrian province of Hama at 3:30 a.m. Damascus time.
According to the reports, several people were wounded in the attack, but there was very little damage to the building itself.
Syrian and Israeli officials have not immediately commented on the reports.
