Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei in a message expressed condolences over the death of the father of Quds Force Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps Major General Qasem Soleimani.
In his message which was released on Wednesday, Ayatollah Khamenei condoled with Soleimani and his bereaved family, IRNA reported.
“I express my condolences to you and other survivors of your respected father —late Hajj Hassan Soleimani ― on his passing away, and I ask God to bestow upon his soul mercy and forgiveness, elevating his ranks, the Leader said in his message, according to the website of his office, Khamenei.ir.
“I hope the good deeds of the sons he properly raised will be marked down on his record of deeds,” Ayatollah Khamenei said.
Hassan Soleimani passed away at 95 on Tuesday due to old age.
