{"id":998,"date":"2017-10-10T07:24:27","date_gmt":"2017-10-10T07:24:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/madaresharghi.com\/iran-oman-to-step-up-it-cooperation\/"},"modified":"2017-10-10T07:24:27","modified_gmt":"2017-10-10T07:24:27","slug":"iran-oman-to-step-up-it-cooperation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/madaresharghi.ir\/en\/iran-oman-to-step-up-it-cooperation\/","title":{"rendered":"Iran, Oman to step up IT cooperation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/madaresharghi..com\">madaresharghi<\/a><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<p><h2 class=\"lide\">Following the visit of an Iranian delegation of knowledge-based companies to Oman, the two countries reached agreement to expand bilateral cooperation in information technology.<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<div readability=\"62\">\n<p>\n\tLast week, a trade delegation headed by Ali Morteza Birang, Deputy for International Cooperation of the Office of Vice-Presidency for Science and Technology, and comprising ten knowledge-based companies active in telecommunication and information technology, visited Oman at the official invitation of head of the Research Council of Oman as the country\u2019s highest-ranking technology institute, MNA reported.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tAccording to Birang, the three-day visit had a special focus on two key issues including the holding of the second session of a joint technology working group with the Research Council of Oman in which the previous agreements were discussed and pursued.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tHe went on to add, \u201cFollowing the programs of the joint working group, a memorandum of understanding was signed between Pardis Technology Park of Iran and Innovation Park Muscat to exchange of workspace between the two countries as well as having a representative of the other side located at the park.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\n\tOther topics raised with the Omani side included voicing readiness for organizing a specialized workshop in Muscat, the admission of Omani student through scholarships, the establishment of a cognitive science lab and the definition of a joint research project.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tAccording to Birang, the next year\u2019s meeting on exchange of scientific and technological experiences of Islamic countries will be held in Muscat.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>madaresharghi Following the visit of an Iranian delegation of knowledge-based companies to Oman, the two countries reached agreement to expand bilateral cooperation in information technology.
