A high-ranking Syrian military commander says the United States is supplying various kinds of munitions to Daesh Takfiri terrorists and members of the foreign-sponsored and Takfiri Jabhat Fatah al-Sham \u2013 previously known as the Nusra Front \u2013 militant group, not the so-called moderate armed opposition.<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\u201cWe know that the United States delivered 1,421 truckloads of military hardware between\u00a0June 5 and September 15 this year to\u00a0terrorists in\u00a0Syria. The weapons were purportedly intended to\u00a0be used in the fight against terrorists, but\u00a0eventually fell into\u00a0the hands of\u00a0Daesh and Nusra Front militants,\u201d the chief of the Main Operational Directorate\u00a0of the\u00a0Syrian Army, General Ali al-Ali, said in Damascus on Monday.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\n\tHe added that Takfiri terrorists in Syria were getting weapons bought under\u00a0the Pentagon’s program of\u00a0assistance to\u00a0armed anti-Damascus moderates.<\/p>\n

\n\tWalid Khali, a Syrian army official, also said Jabhat Fatah al-Sham terrorists, who attacked Russian troops stationed in Syria\u2019s west-central province of Hama on September 18, carried weapons made in\u00a0the United States,\u00a0Belgium\u00a0and France.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe remarks came a day after Secretary General of the Lebanese Hezbollah resistance movement, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, said the United States is using its air force to\u00a0protect Daesh militants from\u00a0Syrian government forces.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\u201cThe United States protects Daesh in\u00a0several regions of Syria by\u00a0using aircraft, and prevents the Syrian army to\u00a0end with\u00a0the terrorists,\u201d Nasrallah said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\n\tThe Hezbollah leader said Syrian army soldiers and allied fighters from popular defense groups should mop up\u00a0the country’s territory of\u00a0the Takfiri terrorists, otherwise the militants would continue their attacks.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
