The Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Major General Igor Konashenkov says Russian military aircraft have taken out seven Daesh terrorist field commanders, including a terror coordinator, in Syria\u2019s troubled eastern province of Dayr al-Zawr over the past two days.<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cSeven field commanders of\u00a0various ranks were killed, including Kazakh native Abu Islam al-Kazakhi, who coordinated the actions of\u00a0Daesh\u00a0assault units on\u00a0the banks of\u00a0the Euphrates River,\u201d Konashenkov said on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cOver the past\u00a0two days, the Russian Air Force has continued to\u00a0strike Daesh group on\u00a0the eastern bank of\u00a0the Euphrates. The death of 304 militants have been confirmed, and more than\u00a0170 other extremists been wounded.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThe center for\u00a0the assembly and training of\u00a0Daesh foreign elements, including about\u00a040 militants from\u00a0the North Caucasus, as\u00a0well as\u00a0a mobile sniper group of\u00a0terrorists, were destroyed in an airstrike,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

\n\tKonashenkov further noted that three command posts, nine terrorist fortifications, eight battles tanks, three artillery systems, 17 pickup trucks equipped with large-caliber weapons and four ammunition depots were also destroyed in the aerial assaults.<\/p>\n

\n\tRussian Tupolev\u00a0Tu-95\u00a0strategic bombers fired a barrage of cruise missiles at the positions of Daesh\u00a0Takfiri terrorist group\u00a0in Syria\u2019s northwestern province of Idlib and the eastern province of Dayr al-Zawr on September 26, inflicting heavy losses on the terrorists.<\/p>\n

\n\tOn September 22, a Russian submarine launched a barrage of Kalibr cruise missiles at the positions of the foreign-sponsored and Takfiri terrorists of Jabhat Fatah al-Sham \u2013 previously known as the Nusra Front \u2013 in Syria\u2019s northwestern province of Idlib and destroyed them only a few days after the extremists attacked a unit of Russian Military Police in the crisis-hit Arab country.<\/p>\n

\n\tJabhat Fatah al-Sham terrorists had earlier attacked Russian troops stationed in the neighboring Hama province.<\/p>\n

\n\tSince 2015, Russia has been conducting aerial attacks against terrorist positions in Syria at a request from the Syrian government.<\/p>\n
