\n\t\t\tSyria\u2019s official news agency, SANA, reported on Saturday that Syrian troops and their allies had established full control over the village of Ma\u2019adan Atiq. Scores of extremists were killed or injured during the operation.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tSyrian army units and their allied forces also reclaimed Mazloum village in addition to several strategic sites in the town of Khasham. A number of Daesh terrorists were killed or injured in the counter-terrorism offensives.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tGovernment troops also engaged Daesh terrorists in Huwaijah\u00a0Saker region, inflicting heavy losses upon their ranks and military hardware.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tFurthermore, Syrian Air Force fighter jets bombarded Daesh fortifications and supply routes in the adjacent districts of Huwaiqah, al-Jebeliyeh, al-Aridi and Kanamat.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tSeparately, Syrian troops targeted two Daesh pickup trucks traveling on the road linking al-Islah region to Muhasan area.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tUS-backed Kurdish militiamen capture major gas field in Dayr al-Zawr<\/span><\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tMeanwhile, militiamen from the so-called Syrian Democratic Forces\u00a0have seized a big natural gas field in Dayr al-Zawr province from Daesh terrorists.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tAhmed Abu Khawla, a commander of the US-backed forces, told Reuters that his fellow fighters had retaken the Conoco gas field.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tDaesh overran large parts of Dayr al-Zawr province, including its many oil fields, in mid-2014 as it seized swathes of land in Syria and neighboring Iraq.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tBy early 2015, the Takfiri terrorists were in control of some parts of Dayr al-Zawr city and besieged the remaining parts, which were under government control. It is estimated that 100,000 people remain in the government-held parts of the city.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tThe so-called Syrian Observatory for Human Rights estimates that more than 10,000 people may be living in the Daesh-held parts of Dayr al-Zawr.<\/p>\n
