{"id":748,"date":"2017-09-15T16:00:50","date_gmt":"2017-09-15T16:00:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/madaresharghi.com\/syrian-army-engages-daesh-terrorists-in-hama-amid-gains\/"},"modified":"2017-09-15T16:00:50","modified_gmt":"2017-09-15T16:00:50","slug":"syrian-army-engages-daesh-terrorists-in-hama-amid-gains","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/madaresharghi.ir\/en\/syrian-army-engages-daesh-terrorists-in-hama-amid-gains\/","title":{"rendered":"Syrian Army engages Daesh terrorists in Hama amid gains"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/madaresharghi..com\">madaresharghi<\/a><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<p><h2 class=\"lide\">Syrian government forces have engaged in intense fighting with Daesh terrorists in the central province of Hama as the army continues to make more gains in the fight against the Takfiri group.<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<div readability=\"74\">\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size: 12px;\">The so-called Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said on Friday that the recent round of fighting in Hama is concentrated in the Okeirbat area, which was taken back from Daesh on Thursday, Press TV reported.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe Syrian Central Military Media said government forces are targeting Daesh positions with artillery and rockets.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tSyrian troops, under the cover of Russian air raids, have been on the offensive in central Syria against the Daesh terror group for weeks.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\n\tCivilian causalities in Deir ez-Zor<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\n\tMeanwhile , the Observatory said more than 24 civilians have been killed as a result of possible US-led air raids against what are said to be Daesh targets in the eastern city of Deir ez-Zor on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe rights group said that 13 of the killed were children.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tTaking the latest fatalities into account, the monitoring group said the civilian death toll from both US-led and Russian strikes have reached 53.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tEarlier this month, the Syrian government forces broke the three-year-long Daesh siege on the city of Deir ez-Zor, the provincial capital of the oil-rich province of the same name.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tRussia has been conducting air raids against Daesh and other terrorist groups in Syria at the Damascus government\u2019s request since September 2015. Russia has also maintained a naval group in the Mediterranean since the start of its anti-terror campaign in Syria.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\n\tUS-Russia talks on Syria<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\n\tIn another development, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov held a phone call on the Syria crisis with his American counterpart Rex Tillerson.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tLavrov and Tillerson spoke late on Thursday and discussed cooperation in their attempts to resolve the Syrian crisis with an emphasis on de-escalation zones, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>madaresharghi Syrian government forces have engaged in intense fighting with Daesh terrorists in the central province of Hama as the army continues to make more gains in the fight against the Takfiri group.
