\n\t\t\tA local source, speaking on condition of anonymity, told the Arabic-language SNG news agency that the senior terrorist, identified by the nom de guerre Abu Qatada al-Muhajir, was killed on the outskirts of Hawijah city, located 45 kilometers west of\u00a0the provincial capital city of Kirkuk.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tThe source added that al-Muhajir was a prominent Daesh member and in charge of recruiting Arab fighters.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tHe purportedly possessed a great deal of information about Daesh leaders and the terror group\u2019s bombing squads.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tOver dozen foreign Daesh women arrested near Tal Afar<\/span><\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tSeparately, Iraqi security troops\u00a0have arrested dozens of female Daesh members\u00a0near Tal Afar more than a fortnight after government forces, backed by allied fighters from Popular Mobilization Units, liberated the strategic northern city from the clutches of Daesh extremists.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tThe media bureau odf the Defense Ministry, in a statement released on Friday, announced that members iof the Federal Police Force arrested 14 female Daesh terrorists in Qasabet al-Ra\u2019ie village on the outskirts of al-\u2018Ayadiya district, which lies 11 kilometers northwest of Tal Afar.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tThe statement added that thirteen of those arrested were Turkish nationals and only one of them came from Russia. There were sixteen children with the Takfiri women.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tOn August 31,\u00a0Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi said the city of Tal Afar and the entire Nineveh province had been purged of the Daesh Takfiri terrorist group.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tThe recapture of Tal Afar was made possible with the help of Iraqi army soldiers, Federal Police Force, Counter-Terrorism Service (CTS), pro-government fighters from Popular Mobilization Units \u2013 commonly known by the Arabic word Hashd al-Sha\u2019abi and the\u00a0Interior Ministry’s elite\u00a0rapid response forces, Abadi said.<\/p>\n
