Syrian government forces have carried out fresh operations against Daesh Takfiri terrorists across the violence-plagued Arab country, inflicting substantial losses on them.<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n
\n

\n\tA military source, speaking on condition of anonymity, told Syria\u2019s official news agency, SANA, that army units had established full control over the villages of Salba, Rasm al- Mazra’ah, Zanouba, Taweina, Hesso, Northern Makeimen, Southern Makeimen, Tibet Dakeij and Jebel Abyad in the eastern outskirts of the western province of Hama, located 213\u00a0kilometers north of\u00a0the capital Damascus.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe source added that scores of Daesh extremists were killed or wounded during the military operations, and several vehicles equipped with machineguns were destroyed\u00a0as well.<\/p>\n

\n\tSyrian bomb disposal units are now combing the liberated areas for hidden ordnance and explosive devices, which Daesh Takfiris have planted there to slow down the advance of the army forces towards al- Uqayribat district.<\/p>\n

\n\tSeparately, Syrian army soldiers regained control over an area north of Mannnoukh village in the central province of Homs, inflicting heavy losses on the Daesh ranks and its military equipment.<\/p>\n

\n\tElsewhere in the eastern province of Dayr al-Zawr, Syrian and Russian fighter jets pounded the Daesh positions and fortifications, killing or wounding many of the terrorists.<\/p>\n

\n\tAn unnamed Syrian military official said the aerial attacks targeted terrorists\u2019 hideouts in al-Thurdeh Valley, Panorama district, the al-Rashidiyah neighborhood of the provincial capital city of Dayr al-Zawr as well as al-Bughailah and Ayyash villages.<\/p>\n

\n\tSyria has been fighting different foreign-sponsored militant and terrorist groups since March 2011.<\/p>\n
