{"id":41,"date":"2017-07-29T12:31:39","date_gmt":"2017-07-29T12:31:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/madaresharghi.com\/?p=41"},"modified":"2017-07-29T12:31:39","modified_gmt":"2017-07-29T12:31:39","slug":"iran-germany-mull-over-expanding-economic-banking-ties","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/madaresharghi.ir\/en\/iran-germany-mull-over-expanding-economic-banking-ties\/","title":{"rendered":"Iran, Germany mull over expanding economic, banking ties"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> Iranian Minister of Transport Abbas Akhoundi and Germany\u2019s Minister of Economic Affairs and Energy Brigitte Zypries met on Thursday to discuss economic cooperation and expansion of banking relations.<\/p>\n<p>During the meeting, the two sides explored ways of removing the barriers impeding the two countries banking relations.<\/p>\n<p>The Iranian minister, who traveled to the European country on Wednesday for a two-day visit, was accompanied by his deputy, Asghar Fakhrieh Kashan, and Saeid Mohammadzadeh, head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Railways (known as RAI).<\/p>\n<p>The officials also visited Siemens industrial complex in Berlin and held talks with the company officials to discuss Tehran-Mashhad high-speed railway project.<\/p>\n<p>The German company cooperates with Iran for implementation of this project and manufacturing trains for the mentioned line.<\/p>\n<p>According to IRIB, Akhoundi also held talks with Ronald Pofalla, the board member for infrastructure at Deutsche Bahn AG (a German railway company operating in more than 130 countries), who said transferring knowledge and technology to Iran is on the agenda.<\/p>\n<p>EF\/MA<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Iranian Minister of Transport Abbas Akhoundi and Germany\u2019s Minister of Economic Affairs and Energy Brigitte Zypries met on Thursday to discuss economic cooperation and expansion of banking relations.
