After overcoming the initial conditions of the coronavirus outbreak, Iran’s foreign trade during the month to September 21 amounted to $5.76 billion for about 11 million tons of non-oil commodities, said the spokesman of Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA).<\/p>\n
Ruhollah Latifi said on Saturday that the figures indicate 24 percent growth in terms of weight compared to the corresponding figure for the month to August 21, IRNA reported.<\/p>\n
He noted that Iran exported 8.25 million tons of goods worth $2.69 billion during August 22-September 21, while the country imported 2.69 million tons of commodities valued at $3.07 billion during the said period.<\/p>\n
China with 2.26 million tons ($669 million), Iraq with 1.41 million tons ($565 million), the UAE with 1.21 million tons ($379 million), Afghanistan with 704,000 tons ($232 million), and Turkey with 380,000 tons ($218 million) were Iran\u2019s main export destinations during the month to September 21, Latifi said.<\/p>\n
The top five sources of imports during this period were the UAE with 396,000 tons ($775 million), China with 262,000 tons ($743 million), Turkey with 305,000 tons ($339 million), Germany with 226,000 tons ($174 million) and India with 176,000 tons ($156 million), the IRICA spokesman said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
