{"id":3501,"date":"2020-09-17T14:41:12","date_gmt":"2020-09-17T14:41:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/madaresharghi.ir\/en\/?p=3501"},"modified":"2020-09-17T14:41:12","modified_gmt":"2020-09-17T14:41:12","slug":"iran-ranks-top-for-oil-gas-exploration","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/madaresharghi.ir\/en\/iran-ranks-top-for-oil-gas-exploration\/","title":{"rendered":"Iran ranks top for oil &#038; gas exploration"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"fn14 news_lead pr8 pl8 pt8 pb8\">National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) by exploring 4.9 billion barrels liquid hydrocarbon in 2019, is standing on top of oil giants in the world.<\/p>\n<p>Managing director of National Iranian Oil Company for explorations affairs Saleh Hendi said that based on &#8216;Wood Mackenzie&#8217; reports with regard to exploration of hydrocarbon resources in the world in 2019, NIOC is ranking first.<\/p>\n<p>Based on the report, NIOC&#8217;s exploration is equal to 31% of the entire hydrocarbon discovery in the world.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Wood Mackenzie&#8217; added that discovering Eram field with 2.7b barrels (20% of the total gas discovered in the world) and Namavaran Field with 2.3 billion barrels (10.5% of the total oil discovered in the world) are ranking first and third respectively.<\/p>\n<p>The total amount of exploration in 2019 was 21.2 billion barrels which was twice as much as that of 2018.<\/p>\n<p>NIOC (4.97 billion barrels), Gazprom (3.18b barrels), BP (1.4b barrels) and ExxonMobil (0.9b barrels) are ranking 1st \u2013 4th with regard to liquid hydrocarbon discovery.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) by exploring 4.9 billion barrels liquid hydrocarbon in 2019, is standing on top of oil giants in the world.
