{"id":3395,"date":"2020-09-01T18:47:56","date_gmt":"2020-09-01T18:47:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/madaresharghi.ir\/en\/?p=3395"},"modified":"2020-09-01T18:47:56","modified_gmt":"2020-09-01T18:47:56","slug":"aramco-discovers-2-oil-and-gas-fields-in-northern-saudi-arabia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/madaresharghi.ir\/en\/aramco-discovers-2-oil-and-gas-fields-in-northern-saudi-arabia\/","title":{"rendered":"Aramco Discovers 2 Oil and Gas Fields in Northern Saudi Arabia"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Saudi Aramco discovered two oil and gas fields in northern parts of Saudi Arabia, the kingdom\u2019s official news agency reported, citing Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman.<\/p>\n<p>Gas has started flowing from Hadabat Al-Hajara field near the Iraqi border at an average daily rate of 16 million standard cubic feet (543,000 cubic meters), in addition to 1,944 barrels of condensates, which are a type of petroleum that usually isn\u2019t classified as crude oil because it\u2019s too light.<\/p>\n<p>The nearby Abraq at-Tulul field has started producing 3,000 barrels a day of crude, 49,000 barrels of condensates and 1.1 million cubic feet (311,000 cubic meters) of gas, Bloomberg reported.<\/p>\n<p>Aramco said it will drill more wells to evaluate how much energy the fields hold. The crude finds pale in comparison to the state firm\u2019s existing production of around 8.5 million barrels a day.
