{"id":3222,"date":"2020-05-09T10:07:57","date_gmt":"2020-05-09T10:07:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/madaresharghi.ir\/en\/?p=3222"},"modified":"2020-05-09T10:08:01","modified_gmt":"2020-05-09T10:08:01","slug":"qajar-era-mansion-to-be-turned-into-traditional-residence","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/madaresharghi.ir\/en\/qajar-era-mansion-to-be-turned-into-traditional-residence\/","title":{"rendered":"Qajar-era mansion to be turned into traditional residence"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p> Hajian mansion in north-central Semnan province is being repurposed into a traditional residence after being fully restored.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The mansion, which dates back to the Qajar era (1789\u20131925), has been inscribed on the National Heritage List.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To make the best use of such historical \nsites, they are repurposing into traditional hotels, restaurants or \neco-lodge units with the aim of receiving better conservation and \nmaintenance, CHTN quoted provincial tourism chief Mehdi Jamal as saying \non Thursday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The main population centers of Semnan \nprovince lie along the ancient Silk Road (and modern-day Imam Reza \nExpressway), linking Rey (Tehran) with Khorasan (Mashhad).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While few visitors spend much time in the \narea, driving through you can easily seek out several well-preserved \ncaravanserais (notably Dehnamak and Ahowan), cisterns (the Cafe Abenbar \nin Garmsar is a special treat) and ruined mud citadels (Padeh is lumpy \nbut fascinating).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The large, bustling cities of Semnan, \nDamghan and Shahrud (Bastam) all have a small selection of historic \nbuildings and Semnan has a fine old covered bazaar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Iran is home to abundant historical \nmansions, caravanserais, bathhouses, madrasas, and other massive \nmonuments, which can buttress its budding tourism and hospitality \nsectors if managed appropriately and refurbished properly.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hajian mansion in north-central Semnan province is being repurposed into a traditional residence after being fully restored.&nbsp;
