{"id":3216,"date":"2020-05-08T18:38:20","date_gmt":"2020-05-08T18:38:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/madaresharghi.ir\/en\/?p=3216"},"modified":"2020-05-08T18:38:22","modified_gmt":"2020-05-08T18:38:22","slug":"copper-projects-worth-over-950m-inaugurated","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/madaresharghi.ir\/en\/copper-projects-worth-over-950m-inaugurated\/","title":{"rendered":"Copper projects worth over $950m inaugurated"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Four development projects worth 40 trillion rials \n(about $952.3 million) were inaugurated in the copper sector of Kerman \nProvince in the southeast of Iran on Thursday, Shata news reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As reported, President Hassan Rouhani put the projects into operation through video conference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The projects inaugurated in Khatoon Abad Copper Complex included \nincreasing the capacity of copper smelting in the complex, building a \ncopper concentrate storage, construction of a sulfuric acid production \nplant, and an oxygen supplying unit.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation \nOrganization (IMIDRO)\u2019s Managing Director Khodadad Gharibpour was \npresent in the inaugural ceremony of the projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By putting the first project into operation, the complex\u2019s capacity \nfor producing copper anode rises by 50 percent to 120,000 tons, and the \ncountry\u2019s copper smelting capacity rose to 400,000 tons. This project \ncreates jobs for 120 persons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some 1.11 trillion rials (about $26.4 million) plus $118 million have been invested for this project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The second project, which was the construction of a 60,000-ton \nstorage facility, was implemented at the cost of 158 billion rials \n(about $3.7 million) plus three million euros, creating jobs for 250 \npeople.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The third project is valued at 750 billion rials (about $17.8 \nmillion) plus 100 million euros and the fourth one was put into \noperation at the cost of 192 billion rials (about $4.5 million) plus 31 \nmillion euros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Addressing the inaugural ceremony via video conference, Industry, \nMining, and Trade Minister Reza Rahmani released a report on the \nprojects currently underway in the mining sector.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Four development projects worth 40 trillion rials (about $952.3 million) were inaugurated in the copper sector of Kerman Province in the southeast of Iran on Thursday, Shata news reported.
