Launching satellite into orbit proves Iran is able to\n achieve a surge in production as well, Leader of the Islamic Revolution\n Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said on Wednesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSome\n people keep saying it\u2019s impossible and we can\u2019t, but we can,\u201d Ayatollah\n Khamenei said in a video conference with seven active manufacturers \nfrom different parts of the country on the occasion of Labor Week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhen we can launch a satellite into space\n with a speed of 7500 m\/s, have put a satellite into orbit, and have \nmade significant progress in the defense industry, then we can achieve a\n surge in production too,\u201d he said, according to his official website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Leader explained, \u201cThe Iranian wisdom \nand thought that can build a satellite and set a goal of a \n36,000-kilometer orbit for the next satellite, certainly enjoy the same \nspirit, innovation, and creativity needed to produce cars with a \nconsumption of 5 liters\/100 km and for production in other sectors.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the video conference, managers and a\n number of exemplary laborers delivered reports on the status of \nproduction and about their achievements as well as the problems they \nface. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
They also put forward solutions and proposals for solving the existing problems in order to materialize a surge in production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Leader meets with laborers every year \non the occasion of Labor Week, but this year the meeting was held via \nvideoconferenc in order to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cA key point is respecting workers\u2019 \nrights,\u201d said Ayatollah Khamenei. \u201cFair and punctual payments and job \nsecurity, which I\u2019ve always stressed, are very important. Some of these \ngentlemen have mentioned that they haven\u2019t fired any workers following \nthe economic problems due to the coronavirus outbreak. This is very \ngood.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cInsurance, training, welfare, and health \nservices are rights of workers and the responsibility of employers. Of \ncourse, if the needs of the families of workers, including their \nchildren\u2019s education are fulfilled, it will strengthen worker-employer \nrelationship, which is an auspicious thing.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2018Should production surge, sanctions virus cannot harm Iran\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The Leader compared the production to the \nbody\u2019s immune system, saying if production is favorable and growing, \ninvasive viruses like sanctions and oil prices cannot harm Iran\u2019s \neconomy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cReal cooperation between the labor force \nand employers can increase production and economic growth,\u201d he noted, \nadding, \u201cThe labor force should increase their skills and sense of \nresponsibility; employers should increase the workers share from the \nincome of the business.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cSome of our worker friends had complaints\n about legislation that overlooked workers\u2019 opinions.
