\n\tDuring the meeting in the Russian capital on Thursday, Iranian \nAmbassador to Moscow Kazem Jalali and Russia\u2019s Deputy Transport \nMinister, who is also the head of the Iran-Russia Cooperation Working \nGroup, Vladimir Tokarev, explored avenues for the expansion of \ncooperation between Tehran and Moscow in the field of transport, \nreported Fars News Agency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\tJalali also pointed to the role of Iran\u2019s Northern port in transporting\n goods between the two countries and their potential capacities. The \nIranian ambassador to Russia also reiterated the investment capacities \nof the two countries in this sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\tHe pointed to the firm determination of the two countries\u2019 officials to\n expand bilateral ties, and added, \u201cThe Islamic Republic of Iran is \nready to broaden its ties with its northern neighbors, including Russia,\n in various sectors.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\tIn late December 2019, in a meeting in Moscow, Jalali and Russian \nPresidential Advisor Zamir Kabulov explored avenues for expanding \neconomic cooperation and underlined the need for putting into effect the\n already signed agreements and memoranda of understanding (MoUs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\tDuring the meeting in the Russian capital, Jalali and Kabulov exchanged views on different areas of economic cooperation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\tThe two sides reiterated the determination of the Iranian and Russian \npresidents to develop all-out relations, especially in the field of \neconomy and trade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Kabulov, for his part, wished success for the new Iranian ambassador to Moscow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
