{"id":2871,"date":"2019-11-22T16:07:15","date_gmt":"2019-11-22T17:07:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/madaresharghi.ir\/en\/?p=2871"},"modified":"2019-11-22T16:57:20","modified_gmt":"2019-11-22T17:57:20","slug":"india-to-host-3-iranian-films","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/madaresharghi.ir\/en\/india-to-host-3-iranian-films\/","title":{"rendered":"India to host 3 Iranian films"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The 50th International Film Festival of India, Goa will host three Iranian feature films.\n                                <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Two\n Iranian films \u201cJust 6.5\u201d directed by Saeed Roustaee and \u201cOld Men Never \nDie\u201d by Reza Jamali will be screened at the World Panorama section of \nthe film festival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe Warden\u201d directed by Nima Javidi is the third Iranian \nfilm which will be screened at the ICFT UNESCO Gandhi Medal section, \ncompeting with films from India, Germany, Italy, Mexico and the US.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this section, eight features films which carry the \nvalues exhibited by Mahatma Gandhi for his immense contribution to the \nsociety will compete for this exemplary award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The International Film Festival of India (IFFI), founded in\n 1952, is one of the most significant film festivals in Asia. Held \nannually, currently in the state of Goa, on the western coast of the \ncountry, the festival aims at providing a common platform for the \ncinemas of the world to project the excellence of the film art; \ncontributing to the understanding and appreciation of film cultures of \ndifferent nations in the context of their social and cultural ethos; and\n promoting friendship and cooperation among people of the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Moreover, \u201cAt Five in the Afternoon\u201d directed by Samira  Makhmalbaf will be screened at the Golden Peacock Retrospective and  \u201cMarghe and her mother\u201d by Mohsen Makhmalbaf will be screened at the  closing ceremony of the festival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 50th International Film Festival of India will be held November 20-28, 2019 in Goa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ISNA<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The 50th International Film Festival of India, Goa will host three Iranian feature films.
