The politburo chief of the Palestinian Islamic resistance movement, Hamas, has reiterated that resistance against Israel could certainly secure a final victory for the Palestinian nation, stressing that Israeli occupied Jerusalem al-Quds will be a \u201cgraveyard of conspiracies\u201d against Palestine.<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\u201cAs our today\u2019s martyrs are different from those in the past, our present battle doesn\u2019t bear much resemblance to previous ones. Today, we are bound to put up resistance [in the face of Israel],\u201d Ismail Haniyeh\u00a0said on Saturday.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\n\tHe said that Ibrahim\u00a0Abu Thuraya and three other Palestinians, who were shot dead on Friday by Israeli troops during protests against US President Donald Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem al-Quds as Israel’s capital, proved to the whole world that \u201cthe Palestinian people will never compromise its rights and capitulate.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tHaniyeh added, \u201cNo one can dispute the fact that al-Quds belongs to Palestinians. We strongly believe in our final victory through God\u2019s assistance, and will not step back\u00a0one iota\u00a0from right to entire al-Quds.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tMeanwhile, a senior official of the Lebanese Hezbollah resistance movement says his group will spare no effort to support the anti-Israel resistance in Palestine regardless of the US and Saudi stances on the issue.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\u201cThe Zionist regime [of Israel] is scared of the Lebanese and Palestinian resistance movements as well as stone-throwing children in Palestine. It is not afraid of Saudis who spend billions of dollars on boosting their military might, but do not pose any threat to Israel,\u201d said Deputy Chairman of Hezbollah’s Executive Council\u00a0Sheikh Nabil Qaouq.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\n\tHe added, \u201cSaudi Arabia\u2019s attempts to normalize ties with the Israeli enemy are more disgraceful than Trump\u2019s decision on al-Quds.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tOn December 6, Trump announced his decision to recognize Jerusalem al-Quds as Israel\u2019s capital and relocate the US embassy in occupied land from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem al-Quds.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe dramatic shift in Washington\u2019s policy vis-\u00e0-vis the city triggered demonstrations in the occupied Palestinian territories, Iran, Turkey, Egypt, Jordan, Tunisia, Algeria, Iraq, Morocco\u00a0and other Muslim countries.<\/p>\n

\n\tOn December 10, violent clashes erupted outside the US embassy in the Lebanese capital Beirut during a protest against the US decision. Demonstrators burnt tires as well as the US and Israeli flags as they pushed to break through a barbed wire erected by security forces around the embassy complex.<\/p>\n

\n\tSecurity forces used tear gas and water cannon to disperse the angry protesters.\u00a0<\/p>\n
