Yemeni forces have reportedly fired a ballistic missile at a Saudi army command and control center in the kingdom\u2019s southwestern Jizan region, as the Riyadh regime steps up its bloody attacks against the country.<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tA Yemeni military source told Arabic-language al-Masirah television network on Saturday that the medium-range Qaher M-2 missile had accurately hit the target south of Jizan, presstv.com reported.<\/p>\n

\n\tMeanwhile, Colonel Aziz Rashid, a spokesman for the Yemeni military, noted that the missile strike was a preemptive attack to foil the Saudi mercenaries’ activities.<\/p>\n

\n\tHe also stressed that the Yemeni missile force was capable of hitting strategic targets deep inside the Saudi territories.<\/p>\n

\n\tYemeni forces regularly fire ballistic missile at positions inside Saudi Arabia in retaliation for Saudi military strikes on Yemen.<\/p>\n

\n\tOn Friday, more than 70 Yemeni people were killed in Saudi air raids on the impoverished country.<\/p>\n

\n\tSaudi Arabia and its allies launched the war on Yemen in March 2015 in a bid to crush the Houthi movement and reinstate the former Riyadh-friendly regime, but they have achieved neither of their goals.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Saudi-led war, which has been accompanied by a naval and aerial blockade on Yemen, has so far killed over 12,000 people and led to a humanitarian crisis as well as a deadly cholera outbreak.<\/p>\n
