The European Union member states will not follow US President Donald Trump\u2019s recent decision to relocate US embassy from Tel Aviv to Beit ul-Muqaddas, EU foreign affairs chief said.<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n

I did not say it proactively so far but I would do it now, especially after the round of talks we had with the Ministers and with the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu. I know that Netanyahu mentioned a couple of times that he expects others to follow Trump\u2019s decision to move the embassy to Jerusalem [Holy Quds]. He can keep his expectations for others because from the European Union Member States’ side this move will not come,\u201d High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini said Monday at the press conference following the Foreign Affairs Council, madaresharghi reported.<\/p>\n

\n\tUS president’s December 6 announcement to recognize Beit-ul Moqaddas as the capital city of Israel has faced extensive criticisms all over the world even from the US allies.<\/p>\n

\n\tBefore holding talks with the Zionist regime\u2019s Netanyahu, Mogherini on Monday expressed concern over the escalation of violence in the Middle East, saying Trump\u2019s decision would be a \u2018gift\u2019 to extremists.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cEU will increase its work to relaunch peace process. We will have a similar conversation with President Abbas.
