The US military said it plans to stay in Syria as long as necessary to ensure the Daesh terror group does not return.<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t“We are going to maintain our commitment on the ground as long as we need to, to support our partners and prevent the return of terrorist groups,” Pentagon spokesman Eric Pahon said, according to AFP. <\/span><\/p>\n

\n\tThe United States currently has approximately 2,000 troops on the ground in Syria.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n\tPahon said its troop commitment in Syria would be “conditions-based,” meaning that no timeline will determine if and when the US will pull out.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n\t“To ensure an enduring defeat of Daesh the coalition must ensure it cannot regenerate, reclaim lost ground, or plot external attacks,” he said.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n\tMany analysist maintain that Daesh is the brainchild of US, Israel, Saudi Arabia and some other Arab countries of the Persian Gulf.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n\tThe US-led coalition of 68 nations has been conducting airstrikes against what are said to be Daesh targets inside Syria since September 2014 without any authorization from the Damascus government or a UN mandate. Such air raids began in Iraq in August of the same year.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n\tThere are footages showing that the US coalition airdropped weapons for Daesh when they were on the verge defeat in Iraq and Syria to prevent their defeat.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
