According to ISNA, Iranians also burned as much as 78.2 million liters of gasoline between October 23 and November 19. ISNA added that consumption of the fuel soared to 88.2 ml\/d on average between August 23 and September 23, showing an 8.4% rise compared with last year&#8217;s corresponding figure of 81.4 ml\/d. Reportedly, the country&#8217;s demand for the fuel reached 104.6 million on September 23, the highest amount of consumption in a single day this year. Iran\u2019s all-time daily consumption record, 105.9 million liters, was set on March 31, 2016, during the annual Norouz (New Year) holidays.
