{"id":1854,"date":"2017-11-21T19:40:33","date_gmt":"2017-11-21T20:40:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/madaresharghi.com\/german-firm-ripi-sign-technology-transfer-mou\/"},"modified":"2017-11-21T19:40:33","modified_gmt":"2017-11-21T20:40:33","slug":"german-firm-ripi-sign-technology-transfer-mou","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/madaresharghi.ir\/en\/german-firm-ripi-sign-technology-transfer-mou\/","title":{"rendered":"German Firm, RIPI Sign Technology Transfer MoU"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/madaresharghi..com\">madaresharghi<\/a><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<p> \tGermany\u2019s Raschig GmbH has signed a memorandum of understanding with Iran\u2019s Research Institute of Petroleum Industry on transfer of technology to Iran\u2019s oil, gas and petrochemical industries.<br \/> \tMichael Schultes, Raschig\u2019s technical director, and Mansour Bazmi, the head of RIPI\u2019s Technology and International Relations Department, signed the agreement in Tehran on Monday, madaresharghi reported.<br \/> \tThe preliminary deal is centered on providing Iran with the know-how to design and build distillation units at refineries and petrochemical plants based on Raschig\u2019s equipment.<br \/> \tThe German firm will also hold training courses in Tehran as part of the agreement.<br \/> \t\u201cRIPI has carried out extensive research on the design of distillation units and collaboration with Raschig will help us push the boundaries,\u201d Bazmi said on Tuesday.<br \/> \tDistillation is the first process in petroleum refineries wherein crude oil is distilled into feedstock for all other processing units at the refinery. Founded in 1995, Raschig provides process technology equipment, fine chemicals and road repair materials, among other things.<br \/> \t\u201cAfter initial assessments, we found Iran to be a suitable partner for trade and the commercialization of our products,\u201d Schultes was quoted as saying. \u201cWe are a service provider for distillation units in Germany and many other countries.\u201d<br \/> \tRIPI, the research and development arm of the Oil Ministry, is broadening ties with European companies and institutions on technology transfer to Iran\u2019s key oil industry.<br \/> \tIt has held talks with Delft University of the Netherlands to help boost extraction rate in an oilfield in the southern oil-rich Khuzestan Province.<br \/> \tThat followed an agreement between RIPI and France\u2019s IFP Energies Nouvelles last year to collaborate on reservoir studies, boosting extraction from Iran\u2019s oil and gas fields, gas sweetening methods and protecting the environment.<\/p>\n<p> \t\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>madaresharghi Germany\u2019s Raschig GmbH has signed a memorandum of understanding with Iran\u2019s Research Institute of Petroleum Industry on transfer of technology to Iran\u2019s oil, gas and petrochemical industries.
