{"id":1580,"date":"2017-11-05T12:57:25","date_gmt":"2017-11-05T13:57:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/madaresharghi.com\/iran-assures-syria-of-support-in-postwar-era\/"},"modified":"2017-11-05T12:57:25","modified_gmt":"2017-11-05T13:57:25","slug":"iran-assures-syria-of-support-in-postwar-era","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/madaresharghi.ir\/en\/iran-assures-syria-of-support-in-postwar-era\/","title":{"rendered":"Iran assures Syria of support in postwar era"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/madaresharghi..com\">madaresharghi<\/a><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<p><h2 class=\"lide\">Iran\u2019s defense minister, in a phone conversation with his Syrian counterpart, said that Tehran is determined to continue its support for Syria in the postwar era.<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<div readability=\"66\">\n<p>\n\tDefense Minister Brigadier General Amir Hatami and his Syrian counterpart, Fahd Jassem al-Freij, discussed the latest international and regional developments as well as Syria, IRNA reported.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThey also emphasized the need for pursuing and boosting efforts to eradicate terrorism.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tExpressing hope that Syria\u2019s advances in the fight against terrorism and the full return of stability and security to Syria will be continued, he said, \u201cIran is determined to stay beside its Syrian brothers in the postwar era, as it has backed them so far.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe Syrian minister expressed his gratitude to the Islamic Republic for its support for the Arab country\u2019s campaign against terrorist groups, saying that the Iranian nation has always sided with the Syrian people and government.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\u201cThe invaluable coordination between Iran and Syria guarantees stability and security of the two countries and the region,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tHatami also offered his congratulations to the Syrian people and government over the liberation of Deir ez-Zor from Daesh terrorists.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\u201cThe five-year-old resistance of Syria\u2019s Armed Forces and people against terrorist groups is admirable and should be recorded in history as a nation\u2019s legitimate defense of their identity,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe Syrian Army said on Friday it had seized Deir ez-Zor from Daesh, driving the foreign-backed terrorists from their last major stronghold in the war-torn country.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>madaresharghi Iran\u2019s defense minister, in a phone conversation with his Syrian counterpart, said that Tehran is determined to continue its support for Syria in the postwar era.
