\n\t\t\tLocal sources, requesting anonymity, told Syria\u2019s official news agency SANA on Monday that Jabhat Fateh al-Sham\u00a0terrorists have a number of depots in the town of Ghazleh and Ma’arrat Misrin\u00a0city, located 50 kilometers southwest of\u00a0Aleppo, where they keep shells filled with toxic materials.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tThe sources added that some of\u00a0the toxic substances have been made locally, while other chemical weapons are foreign-made and have mostly been manufactured in\u00a0the United States.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tThey highlighted that they have \u201caccurate information\u201d that foreign-sponsored Takfiri militants in Ma’arrat Misrin\u00a0can produce short-range rockets\u00a0with a range of\u00a015 kilometers that can be\u00a0armed with chemical warheads.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tThe sources also warned that Jabhat Fateh al-Sham\u00a0terrorists would use the toxic materials against ordinary citizens as part of a\u00a0plot against Syrian government troops.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tThe Syrian government turned over its entire chemical stockpile under a deal negotiated by Russia and the US back in 2013.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tThe\u00a0Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons\u00a0(OPCW) oversaw the operations to remove the chemical arsenal from Syria and destroy it.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tOn April 4, an alleged gas attack hit the town of Khan Shaykhun in Syria\u2019s Idlib Province, killing more than 80 people.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tThe Western countries rushed to hold Damascus responsible for the incident, with the US launching a missile attack against\u00a0Shayrat Airbase in Syria\u2019s Homs Province on April 7.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tWashington claimed that the air field targeted in the missile raid was the origin of the April 4 purported chemical attack.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tSyria rejected the accusations, saying that militants, not pro-Damascus forces, were using chemical arms.<\/p>\n
