{"id":1462,"date":"2017-10-29T21:12:36","date_gmt":"2017-10-29T22:12:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/madaresharghi.com\/saudi-arabia-says-ready-to-extend-crude-cut-deal\/"},"modified":"2017-10-29T21:12:36","modified_gmt":"2017-10-29T22:12:36","slug":"saudi-arabia-says-ready-to-extend-crude-cut-deal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/madaresharghi.ir\/en\/saudi-arabia-says-ready-to-extend-crude-cut-deal\/","title":{"rendered":"Saudi Arabia Says Ready to Extend Crude Cut Deal"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/madaresharghi..com\">madaresharghi<\/a><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<p> \tCrown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on Saturday reiterated Saudi Arabia\u2019s readiness to support the extension of a global oil production cut agreement.<br \/> \t\u201cThe kingdom affirms its readiness to extend the production cut agreement, which proved its feasibility by rebalancing supply and demand,\u201d the crown prince said in a statement, Reuters reported. \u201cThe high demand for oil has absorbed the increase in shale oil production,\u201d he added.<br \/> \tPrince Mohammad made similar comments to Reuters in an interview published on Thursday about the position of the kingdom toward the extension of oil deal and market condition.<br \/> \t\u201cWe will support anything to stabilize the oil demand and supply,\u201d he told Reuters when asked whether the kingdom would support extending the agreement until the end of 2018.<br \/> \t\u201cI think now the oil market swallowed the shale oil supply, now we are regaining things again,\u201d he told Reuters.<br \/> \tHis comments boosted oil prices, with Brent crude on Friday trading above $60 a barrel for the first time since July 2015.<br \/> \tSaudi Arabia, OPEC\u2019s biggest producer is leading OPEC and other oil producers such as Russia to restrict oil supplies under a global oil pact to drain global inventories and boost oil prices.<br \/> \tThe Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries, plus Russia and nine other producers, have cut oil output by about 1.8 million barrels per day since January. The pact runs to March 2018, but an extension is under consideration.
