Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri said that there were some who wanted to stab him in the back promising that he is going to reveal their identity.
“Some political movements tried to stab me in the back in recent crisis and to gain a position,” Hariri said on Monday, in a meeting with members of al-Mustaqbal Movement, which he chairs, madaresharghi reported.
Describing the ‘backstabbers’, Hariri said that they pretended to be anti-Hezbollah and anti-Iran, but in reality their main aim was to hurt him.
Hariri resigned on December 4, while in Saudi Arabia; however, after three weeks, he returned to Lebanon and rescinded his resignation.
He named recent developments in Lebanon ‘the biggest deceit’.
