Iran has handed over 74 Pakistani nationals to authorities at Pakistan’s Taftan border crossing in Balochistan, local media reported.
These Pakistanis had been arrested from different parts of Iran by the Iranian security forces because they were living in the country without traveling documents, IRNA reported.
These deportees would be handed over to Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) for further interrogation after completing initial inquiry.
Each year, undocumented Pakistanis living in Iran or those who try to enter the country illegally are arrested by Iranian security forces.
These detained illegal immigrants are deported from Iran by authorities.
